Easter Photo's

This week we were allowed to start taking Elliot off his oxygen and much to our surprise he's been doing great!  We even got to take all the tape of his face and really get a good look at him.  We decided what a perfect time to snap a few fun shots!!  How cute is he?

Hanging with my dad!

Some fun photos with BJ and Elliot!

Food!

We've decided it's time for Elliot to enjoy some rice with his milk!  We gave him his first taste this past week and he seemed to enjoy it!  He didn't eat that much since he's pretty small and we didn't know how his stomach would take it but we seem to have success! The rice also helped him sleep thru the night with that full belly.

He's also getting more interested in helping to hold his bottle while he enjoys his milk - his two little hands can get complicated but it's pretty cute to watch.  He clocked in at 10lbs 6oz this past week and we are thrilled his reached double diggits! Enjoy the photos!

Exercise

I took the opportunity to take a few photos of Elliot doing his morning workout!  He works out on both his back and tummy!  It's hard work but his head strength is getting so much better!  Check out the photos!

Elliot!!

Elliot working on his morning leg lifts!  He's getting great abs!
We have been horrible with updating the blog and these photos are all from our cell phone so the quality is also bad - two strikes against us for this month!  Life with Elliot has been crazy!  We are still waiting for the 10lb weigh in, this past Friday he was 9lbs 150z so maybe this Friday we will be celebrating the big 10!!  He's doing great with his braces and has learned to lift them both right up and do exercises with them - also a good way to wake up the parents in the morning by lifting them and slaming them back down in the crib!  He's talking more and laughing at us - which is so wonderful and entertaining for us - BJ's been able to snap a few video's of Elliot chatting away with himself.  We have also been working on getting rid of the oxygen.  We will take it off during the day and see how long he can go and keep his numbers up by using his pluse ox monitor - he's been doing great.  The monitor is very sensative and since Elliot moves all around now it can get so very annoying but we see progess and it makes us very hopeful that soon we won't need the oxygen anymore!  Enjoy these photos and I promise to take more soon with our real camera!

Hanging out in bed!
